I figured out the dynamics of my December Documentation Project and I thought I’d pop by today to share it with you :)
In my previous articles I chatted about how in my opinion documenting December can go far deeper than just capturing the extraordinary.
It's about finding a few minutes each day to reflect upon your thoughts, feelings and observations and can be a way to take pause amidst the chaos that the month of December can bring.
I’ll be documenting my December days spent with my family later on in 2024 as part of my photobooks but for now, my daily December project will be a mini one within my art journal and just for me.
Desperate for a reprieve from stress that has been weighing heavily on my shoulders the last several months, I hope that documenting in a fuss free way for a few minutes each day (but not stressing if I miss days here and there) will give me a little down time.
Mixed Media Print Sheets to create stickers at home
I’ve gathered some of my digital art from Hear My Voice Growing, Hear My Voice Carol Singing, Shine Bright, Sweet December Stories ,Fa La La La La plus my Seasonal Stamps and Brushes from the Memory Pockets Monthly Twinkle release to create some print sheets to make stickers with my own printer.

I considered the size of my journal when making the print sheets - would you believe each page is just a tad bigger than a mere three inches tall, the smallest project i’ve ever created . . .
I purchased this miniature leather backed Christmas Carol book from Lolly and Lill, you can check out their instagram handle @paperpalacevintage.
Due to the tiny size of the pages I re-sized some of my supplies when arranging them on the print sheets. I divided my A4 canvas into three columns and three rows and arranged items in each grid that would work nicely on the pages and printed onto A4 white sticker paper.
Days One and Two
This project is so easy, journal, gesso and then cut or rip the sticker paper into collage fodder and embellish with embroidery, fabrics and ephemera that I have to hand.
Shine Bright and friends are on sale today

Have a fab Wednesday!
I’m finding my rhythm doing document days on Adobe Express on my phone and sharing them in my posts here. Just trying to keep it simple and since I have often time where I lay in bed awake, it makes perfect sense to try to do it on my phone to use my time more wisely.
But I did just get behind today, and I am having the same thoughts about allowing myself grace should I miss a day. I also bought some deli paper from Amazon and I’m trying to find time to print to it. I’m using yours and Vickie’s suggestions to do that as I wanted to try for a while. I want to be able to add them to my advent journal pages which I am doing by hand. Or even my sermon notes that I do by hand.
But I absolutely love your journal book here and how it looks and feels and someday maybe I will try something more like that but I’m not artistic at you.
